A getaway to Boka Dam, Chhattisgarh

Come Fall in love with yourself!

Right in the middle of my hustle bustle monotonous life, I was met with this charming peaceful place. It was just me and miles and miles of quiet.

A place to just be yourself, think whatever you want to. A place where the mind actually knows how to rest and live in the moment. A place which can be enjoyed equally alone or with that special someone. Even if you don’t talk, you are understood, even when you don’t smile; your happiness is felt by the heart! It’s a place and time when you feel good about yourself, you know you can be whatever you want, achieve whatever you desire! And a place where you realize that beneath all the superficial cravings, the heart only desires love and peace. It doesn’t want the whole world’s attention but only that one person’s love and it doesn’t want to travel around the world in search of happiness, but just to go to that one place which feels like home.

After all the heart wants what the heart wants!

How to Get there: The nearest airport is in Raipur (Chhattisgarh), which is roughly 200 km from the Dam. Raipur is well connected to most major Indian cities- Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata to name a few. From Raipur, one can either take a train to Korba or can enjoy the scenic drive and on the way experience life in its simplest form!
