Curiosity always pops out when we talk about the mystical powers of the universe. Speak about those cold vampires of Twilight Saga or those adorable witches of Harry Potter or the nerve-racking demon of The Omen, the unresolved saga remains just as a single question – Do ghosts exist?

Though there is a separate field of psychology called anomalistic psychology that digs deep into the human deportment associated with paranormal activity and tries to interpret the so-called ghost, the theory that always stays in the limelight to give scientific explanation to ghosts is the Einstein’s theory.

Remember this high school theory – Einstein’s theory on the conservation of energy. It states that the energy of a closed system remains constant,  it can neither increase nor decrease without interference from outside. The universe itself is a closed system, so the total amount of energy in existence has always been the same. The forms that energy takes, however, are constantly changing.

To understand this just take the example of a lighter, sparks create a fire that generates heat which actually is a form of energy that wasn’t there before.

A set of eidolon enthusiast believe that this law is applicable to human beings as well. According to them when we are alive, we have electrical energy in our bodies that causes our heart to beat and allows us to breathe. What happens to the electricity that was in our body when we die? There is no easy answer to this, they say.

In fact the answer to this stays pretty simple. May it be plants, animals or humans our energy goes into the environment after we die. When a human dies, the energy stored in his or her body is released in the form of heat, and transferred into the animals that eat us and the plants that absorb us. And the energy gets passed on from one to another via food chain.

So the answer to the unresolved paradox is again a simple high school science.

But this analysis is not to prove that ghosts don’t exist. Ghost may or may not exist.  It’s just to explain that neither Einstein nor his laws confirms the existence of ghost.
