When you are all alone…

What do you do when you have no one to talk to?

When you have no one to turn to

When you are all alone

When life feels error prone …

What do you do when you have no one to laugh with?

When you have no one to share coffee with

When you are thoroughly bored

When you feel horribly ignored …

What do you do when you have no one to hold you?

When you have no one to save you

When the past goes on forever haunting

When the future is equal measures daunting …

What do you do when there is no way out?

When you are plagued with self-doubt

When a hopeless muddle festers inside your head

When every moment of life you dread …

What do you do when you have no one to talk to?

When you have no one to turn to …

Wow. Reaching about halfway in the poem and seeing the pattern, I was thinking this couldn’t possibly be a meaningful piece asking only questions and not reaching any conclusion. And then I got to the last two lines which form the endless loop. Well done, dear poet, well done.

    • Thank you! Am thrilled that the vicious cyle of unending hopeless despair comes across.. But overall I always think the poems I write are childish. Never ever gave poetry thought before writersbrew. Now I hope that someday will write one that feels creative and doesn’t just follow a rhyme scheme.. Hope you are there to read it then..

is poem is nice..the never ending questions and doubts arising in loneliness…I wish I can find the answers for myself atleast:)

it may sound silly..but I’m glad in an odd way for this loneliness which helps you to pen it down and me to read it..I’m not the only one to rise questions for loneliness..haha..

Hope you find the answers. There is sadness in life but there are happy poems too :).. and for sad days we have asr and khushi hamesha … Thank you for reading.

I was as ready as one can be to welcome baby member 2( or 3.. read this to know why I cant decide the number). In the hospital, the nurses have a straight forward rule. More than 2 years have passed since baby number 1 was born? Then you get the coveted or dreaded,...
